Product Warranty Policy

  1. Aeon Water filters (AEON) as the warrantor makes no claims or offers no warranties other than those detailed.
  2. The warrantor will not be held responsible for any representations that may conflict with this warranty, whether such representations are made by Aeon Distributor s or by another independent source.
  3. This warranty is available to original purchases of new packaged water filter units carrying the Aeon brand and does not extend to the resale of second hand or demonstration models.
  4. This warranty applies to a period of 12(twelve) months from the date of purchase of this product from an authorised Distributor of Aeon Water filters against all defects in material or workmanship of moulded housings only. An optional extended 1 year (total 2 years) or 2 year (total 3 years) warranty can be purchased.
  5. This warranty is conditional upon the product being installed and operated in accordance with the companies
    instructions.
  6. Nothing in this warranty, however, shall be constructed as affecting any rights under the Trades Practices Act or” any other Commonwealth or State Legislation. Any such rights cannot be modified or excluded by agreement.
  7. Aeon is not responsible or liable for indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of performance of the water filter unit or other damages with respect to any economic loss, loss of property, loss of revenue or profit or costs of removal installation or re-installation.
  8. This warranty is conditional on the purchaser completing and returning to Aeon the attached DETAILS OF PURCHASE NOTICE WITHIN FOURTEEN DAYS OF PURCHASE.

 

This warranty does not cover …
1. Disposable inline filter cartridges
2. Diverter valves
3. Installation fittings used in conjunction with all Aeon.
4. Damage caused by use on hot water supplies.
5. Damage caused by freezing.
6. Damage caused by use on water supplies other than chlorinated town water.
7. Damage resulting from accident, alteration misuse, fire or floods.
8. Any loss or damage suffered through or resulting from the non-operation or the in effective operation of the water filter unit.

 

In the event of a claim occurring within 12(twelve) months of purchase, the original purchaser should contact Aeon
Water Filters to establish if a valid claim exists. Aeon reserves the right to determine whether or not fault is caused by faulty workmanship or material or that any part is defective.

When satisfied that a valid claim can be made, the unit should be packaged and returned to Aeon water Filters together with the Customer Receipt and details of claim at the expense of the purchaser.

The outbreak of COVID-19, Coronavirus through out Australia has presented us all with a difficult set of challenges. Rest assured, our office is open and AEON Water Filters continues to trade on a restricted basis.

AEON remains fully committed to supporting our team and our customers and are taking all precautions recommended to ensure their health and safety, including:
  • We are available for online or local click n collect orders contact free.
  • During customer services we will keep the mandatory distance, wash hands before and after the filter services and keep hand sanitiser with us when available. Victorian filtration services will be reduced to essential or emergency where health related or the system is not functioning properly. In Victoria until 1st November 2020 personal services will be reduces to essential or emergency only. We are available over the phone to talk you through any issues or explain how to resolve them.
  • The majority of our products are available to be purchased online, with videos on how to install your cartridges and other products also on the website to help you further.
  • We will be available to take your orders over the phone if you prefer or help you through any questions you might have.

At this point our inventory positions are solid with minimal impact to the supply of our products. However, this may be subject to change with limited notice.
